Age 65 – died on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on May 4, 1946 in New London, WI, the daughter of Louis and Esther (Reines) Spiegelburg.
Sally is survived by her daughters; Julie (Jim) Petrausch of Waupaca and Patricia (Randy) Lewis of Waupaca, grandchildren; Cody Petrausch, Paula and Perisa Lewis, sisters; Joyce Ahrens of Manawa and Judy Nowak of Weyauwega, a brother; Leon (Patricia) Spiegelberg of Manawa, and special friend; Erich Steinbach of Waupaca. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband; William A. Nieman, second husband; Lawrence Kuenzi, an infant granddaughter; Brittany Buck, her parents, and an infant brother; Dale Spiegelberg.
Sally was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waupaca. She had a very strong faith and love for her Lord, and her church was a great source of comfort to her. She was very close to her daughters, and her grandchildren always brightened her days and kept her smiling. Sally had been employed with Waupaca County Industries in Manawa for a number of years. Prior to that she had worked at the Pine Tree Supper Club for many years. She also enjoyed farming and being around the animals.
A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Waupaca on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Larry Gross, officiating. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Tuesday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, and again at the church on Wednesday from Noon until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
