Samantha J. Wilson's Obituary
Samantha J. Wilson, age 48, of Waupaca, WI, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Hartford, CT on August 12, 1968, a daughter of Earl and Patricia (Darm) Hill.
Samantha was on several Dart Leagues and ran Karaoke at local establishments and enjoyed singing karaoke with friends. Samantha liked being on the water, boating, canoeing and kayaking. One of her hobbies included crocheting hats and mittens for everyone. The last several years, Samantha was very involved in and was a strong advocate for educating others about Autism in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
Survivors include her Daughters: Tabetha Spencer, Waupaca, WI; Erica Wilson, Waupaca, WI; Amber (Tony Distasio) Wilson, Stevens Point, WI; Parents: Earl & Patricia Hill, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: David Doyle, Waupaca, WI; Levi Wilson, Waupaca, WI; Sisters: Bridgit (Chris Stanlis) Hill, Waupaca, WI; Jane (Randy Hansen) Thomas, Almond, WI; Leslie (Michael) Stamborski, New London, WI. Samantha is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law - Brian Thomas and a nephew - Dakota Wilson Sr.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 4 PM on Monday, February 27th, 2017, with Pastor Jeff Flecther, officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 2 until 4 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to Central WI Autism Society.
