Samuel M. Morgan
Pine River, WI (Formerly of Almond, WI) age 48 – died on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. He was born on November 14, 1961 in Wild Rose, WI, the son of Clifford and Sonia (Schmidt) Morgan. Sam is survived by his fiancée; Carol Sattler of Pine River, daughter; Tanya Morgan (Fiancé; Ryan Jenz) of Almond, sons; Jason Morgan and Jacob Morgan of Almond, parents; Clifford and Sonia Morgan of Almond, sister; Cindy (Ron) Takacs of Almond, and his grandmother; Carolyn Schmidt of Almond. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Leonard and Gertrude Morgan, his maternal grandfather; Walter Schmidt, and an uncle; Dan Morgan. Sam had been employed with the William A. Hein Construction Co. in DePere, WI for twenty years. He was a member of Labor Union #330. He enjoyed being on his farm and gardening. He also enjoyed fishing. A memorial service will be held at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond, WI on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. David Leistra, Pastor – Almond United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the East German Methodist Cemetery near Almond. A visitation will be held at the funeral home in Almond on Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. The Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
