My husband and I live in Tennessee now so we were not aware of Scott's passing. I had him in my 4th grade class and loved him dearly. He was the first diabetic child I had as a teacher so I learned alot about the disease and what to do if he needed something to balance his blood sugar. He was always interested in school and always had this great smile. He suggested we go out to his farm and watch his Mom tap trees and make maple syrup so off our 4th grade class went to learn about this process. I'm sorry we lost track of him as he went through school in Waupaca. From what I have read, he succeeded in life and was a good friend. God Bless his family.

May perpetual light shine upon him. Scott was a friend in high school and while we don't get back to Waupaca much. It was always great when we would run into him. To his family and other friends, we are sorry for your loss. The world will miss his kindness and warmth.

Scott, I was so happy when you were a tiny baby, and I was lucky to be in Waupaca at that time. Whenever I came to visit throughout the years as you grew into adulthood, you were always there to talk at length with me. I will never forget that. Now that you’re with the angels, you’ll always be in my memories and my heart.

Scott was, is, and will always be Remembered by Family and Friends! Scott Loved Life and despite its challenges he was Dedicated and Determined to make his life better by being a very Outgoing Friend to all he met. To me, Scott is and will always be my Big Brother! He was my Path Finder in Life, always doing things first and fearlessly forging the way. Scott could be my Best Friend and worst enemy as my oldest Sibling but he set the bar very high for the rest of us to follow. Scott was a green thumb and he loved Nature and all its wonder. Scott enjoyed to travel and share his interests with all. Even though Scott never had children himself, he was always busy being Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Cousin to those in the Family and Friend to all those he met since August 12th 1964.
