Sharon M. Hamm's Obituary
Sharon M. Hamm, age 73, of Waupaca, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at her home. She was born May 23, 1950 in Neenah, WI; daughter of Howard and Vera (Hinz) Abhold. Sharon married James “Hambone” Hamm and together they had two sons. They later divorced. She will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her two sons Scott (Carmela Vangone) Hamm of Waupaca and Justin Hamm of Waupaca; grandchildren Alexaundria Jacobson of Waupaca, Adam (Amber) Vangone of Iola, Caitlyn (Giovanni) Perillo of Neenah, Karenna Vangone of Waupaca, and Grace Hamm of Waupaca; great-grandchildren Asher, Eloise, Lillian, Lorenzo, and Vincent; eight siblings Danny Abhold of Menasha, Keith Abhold of Texas, Kelly Abhold of Weyauwega, Tom Abhold of Waupaca, Pat (Lisa) Spaulding of Wisconsin Rapids, Laura Conlon of Iola, Sandy (Mark) Elias of Amherst, and Angel (Victor) Estrada of Fremont; her former husband James “Hambone” Hamm of Waupaca; her loving canine companions Lewis and Clark; and also by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Vera Abhold; five brothers Chuck, Ken, Larry, Howie, and Mike Abhold; and a sister Beth Abhold.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Pony Creek County Park, W515 County Road H, Fremont, WI 54940. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
