Sheldon Lynn Behnke's Obituary
Sheldon Lynn Behnke, age 72, of Poy Sippi, WI passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his residence. Sheldon was born in Oshkosh, WI on June 5, 1943, the son of the late Ervin and Esther Behnke. On March 31, 1962, he married Georgia Masten at Grace Lutheran Church of Oshkosh. Sheldon worked for Speed Queen as a Die Caster for many years. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. Sheldon enjoyed hunting, bowling, and watching wrestling. He enjoyed watching the Badgers and Green Bay Packers every week. He is survived by his children: Brenda Al-Ghetta, Neenah, WI; Susan (Danny) Hempel, Medina, WI; William (Tory) Behnke, Spring Lake, WI; Rochelle (Steve) Michels, Poy Sippi, WI; sister, Sharon (Gary) Wilson, Berlin, WI; eight grandchildren: Amanda (Patrick), Buddy (Amber), Shane, Kali (Austin), Emelie, Brielle, Scott and Sam; three great-grandchildren: Phoenix, Leylania, and Patrick. Sheldon is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sheldon is preceded in death by his wife; parents; and daughter, Tina Hope. Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, October 11th at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until time of services at Church.
