Sherry L. Readel's Obituary
Sherry Readel, age 78, of Amherst, entered into eternal life in the arms of Jesus, peacefully surrounded by all four of her beloved children on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan, IL.
She was born on June 6, 1947, in Iola, WI, the daughter of the late Charles Jr. and Helen (Swenson) Pask. On March 29, 1969, she married Samuel Readel in Amherst.
Sherry is survived by her children: Amy Readel of Appleton; Jennifer (Dean) Kramer of Amherst; Amber Readel of Amherst; and Adam Readel of Amherst. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Deborah Kramer, Benjamin Kramer, Daniel Kramer, and Rebekah Kramer; her siblings: Julie (Ray Palmer) Hansen, Tammy (Daniel) Wierzba, and Todd (Karrie) Pask; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; her parents; and her brothers, David and Sidney.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
