Shirley A. Drews' Obituary
On December 9, 2023, Shirley Palecek Drews crossed over the Threshold and into the loving arms of Jesus. She was born on April 14, 1935 and was one of nine children born to Joseph and Rosina Palecek. The family was raised in the Rush Lake area of Winnebago County.
On August 31, 1957, Shirley and Ronald Drews entered into their marriage of 66 years, most of which was spent in the Fremont area. Shirley enjoyed volunteering at her church and the local nursing home. She also had a fascination with numbers and it manifested itself in her bookkeeping career.
Mrs. Drews is survived by Husband: Ronald; Daughter: Karen Drews; Sister: Delores Willis. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers - Marvin, Edward, Alvin and Lincoln, and sisters - Edna, Lucile and Betty.
The Funeral Service will be held at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel (2786 Algoma Blvd.) in Oshkosh, at 1 PM on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, with Rev. Becky Kindschi, officiating. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 12:00 (Noon) until the time of the service at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel.
Shirley will be dearly missed.
