Oh, I so loved Shirley! I interpreted for Shirley and Bob over the years in Eau Claire and visited with them at Deaf social events. Shirley and Bob were such wonderful people and always brought a smile when we ran into each other.
If you run into a framed photo of a tree, with sunbeams through fog, I took that photo. Shirley told me how much she loved that photo, so I got it enlarged and framed and gave it to her when she had her EC apartment after Bob died. We had a nice visit, but, oh did she miss her sweet Bob.
I will miss you both, Bob & Shirley.

I had the privilege to interpret and become a friend to Shirley though the years. Shirley loved the Badgers and Packers where she had a room just decorated all year with Badger and Packer items. When there was a game she would make sure to have her own tailgate event.....food, snacks and beverages. At first it was just Shirley and Bob, then Bob passed away and she had the event with friends Dale McNish, Walter "Bud" Norton and Joel Etlicher. Shirley loved to decorate the rest of her home for each season- Valentine's Day, St. Patricks, Easter etc. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, embroidery and giving items as gifts. Shirley worked hard at all the various jobs she had though the years. Shirley loved her family very much.
I took the picture of Shirley the day the blown glass heart arrived with Bob's ashes that was ordered for her.
Now Shirley you are with Bob and your family in Heaven💕 Rest in Peace🙏
