Shirley Mae Lutz's Obituary
Shirley Mae Lutz age 87, of Amherst, WI, passed away on Thursday November 20, 2025. Shirley was born on January 27, 1938, the daughter of Herman and Frances (Otto) Damrau. Shirley married Alvin Lutz on February 20, 1960. Shirley enjoyed gardening, embroidering, reading, doing word search puzzles and spending time with her family. Shirley was very active in her church.
Shirley is survived by her husband Alvin Lutz of Amherst, WI; her children Roger Lutz of Weyauwega, WI, Arlene (John) Hoffmann of Amherst, WI, Neal (Peggy) Lutz of Stevens Point, WI, Earl (Laurie) Lutz of Amherst, WI and David (Brittany) Lutz of Amherst, WI; her daughter-in-law Jody Cisewski; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her sisters June Sutheimer and Marjorie (Gerald) Lutz and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Frances Damrau; her son Norman Lutz and her brother Byron Damrau.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst, WI. Pastor Gerhard Wilch will officiate, with burial to follow at the Bickel Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday November 24, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, WI, and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst, WI.
