Shirley M. Lilach's Obituary
Shirley M. Lilach, age 73, of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. Shirley was born in Milwaukee on February 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Arnold Oscar Theodore and Lilly Elizabeth (Staal) Ziemer. On January 24, 1959 she married Edward Lilach in West Allis, WI. Shirley loved spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, shopping and playing bingo. She loved to be out in nature, especially fishing. She is a member of Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Lind. Shirley is survived by her husband: Edward Lilach, Wild Rose; her children: Ronald (Lina) Lilach, Wind Lake, WI; James (Pam) Lilach, Pine River and Sheryl (Jeff) Kolka, Freedom; 7 Grandchildren: Katie (Charlie Sprenger) Johnson; Lisa Wilson; Sarah Johnson; Thomas Lilach; Megan Lilach; KellyJo (Cory Bantleon) Kolka and Autumn Lilach; 3 Great Grandchildren: Ariel Duffus; Trevor Wilson and Lilly Sprenger and a future great grandson Kobe Bantleon. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Arlene Bowman & Joyce Liempeck. The Christian Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 28 at 11 AM at Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend William Jordan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bohemian Cemetery, Town of Rose, Waushara County. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and on Tuesday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
