SHIRLEY M. MEYER
STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN Age 91 passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Iola Living Assistance in Iola, WI. She was born July 3, 1915 in Milwaukee, WI; daughter of Elmer and Lillian (Woerle) Fohey. Shirley lived in Oconomowoc, WI for 30 years working for Cuttler & Hammer as a quality inspector. After retiring from Cuttler & Hammer in 1978, she moved to the Stevens Point area to be near her daughter. She enjoyed her freedom in her car, playing poker slots at the casino, playing cards at the Lincoln Center, and most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Shirley was a member of Divine Word Lutheran Church in Plover. Shirley is survived by:

16 Great-Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Howard Fohey. A Funeral Service will be 11 AM on Monday, February 12, 2007 at Divine Word Lutheran Church in Plover, WI. Reverend Keith Free will officiate. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, Feb. 11, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, WI and also one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Entombment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids following the services on Monday. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
