Shirley J. Petersen, age 81, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Wednesday, August 9th, 2006 at Riverside Medical Center. She was born in Mosinee, Wisconsin on January 6, 1925, the daughter of John and Helen (Smith) Douville. She is survived by Husband: Harland Pete Petersen, Waupaca, WI; Daughters: Sandra (Ray) Ketner, Madison, WI; Nancy (Ron) Biddle, Dayton, TX; Grandchildren: John (Carmen) Biddle, Pasadena, TX; Renee (Jeff) Battenberg, Kingwood, TX; Jeffrey (Ceci) Ketner, Cottage Grove, WI; Loree (Andrew) Nelson, Madison, WI; Great Grandchildren: Jurgen, Robin, Alex, Madeleine, Paxton,; Elizabeth, Skye, Chance & Samantha. Sisters: Blanche Sandoval, Appleton, WI; Gert Abshire, Port Arthur, TX; Brother: Howard Douville, San Antonio, TX. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers. A private family memorial service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
