Sidney G. Jacobson
King, WI (formerly of Tomahawk, WI)
Age 86 – died on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 25, 1927, the son of S.G. and E.O. (Maybe) Jacobson. He spent most of his childhood in Tomahawk until he left to find work in Milwaukee. He served in the Merchant Marine during WW II. While living in the Milwaukee area he had worked a number of jobs, including working for the Milwaukee Road Railroad for about twenty years, being a test rider for the Harley Davidson Co, and then as a machinist for General Electric.
Sidney is survived by his sons: Jim Jacobson of Waynesboro, TN, Dewey Jacobson of West Allis, WI, step-sons: Glen Schultz of Bayview, WI, and Terry Schultz of Grafton, WI. He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren and a brother: Roy Jacobson of Milwaukee.
No funeral services are scheduled, but military honors followed by interment will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
