Sofia Poluchowich's Obituary
Sofia Poluchowich, age 98, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab. Center. Sofia was born in Poland on January 3, 1910. Sofia and her husband, Wasyl moved from Poland to Chicago in 1958 and then to Waupaca in 1963. Sofia and Wasyl were married in Poland on Feb. 14, 1932 and Wasyl preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1995. They farmed in the Town of Farmington for a number of years. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 2 at 10:30 AM at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bloomingdale, Ill.. with Very Rev. Bogdan Kalynyuk, presiding. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Addison, IL. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 1 from 2 to 3 PM at the Holly Funeral Home.
