Stacey L. Hill's Obituary
On July 12, 2022, Stacey Lynn Hill (Davies) was called to Heaven. Although it leaves an empty space in all of our hearts, we know she is at peace. This gift to earth was born October 7, 1970 to Rick and Judie Davies of Wild Rose and went on to attend Wild Rose High School graduating in 1988 and then receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh which is where we met. On Sept 16th, 1995, I was blessed when Stacey agreed to marry me; Michael James Hill; I loved her very much and she made me very happy for the next 27 years. Her heart was filled with love for her Husband, Family and Friends. She had the gift to touch many lives; it came easy for her, once you saw her beautiful smile and received one of her famous hugs, you were hooked. She loved horses, the Green Bay Packers, music, mother nature and found beauty and enjoyment in the simplest of things. She was an artist and was a graphic artist by trade.
In 1998, Stacey was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and by the Grace of God and the wisdom of her doctors her tumor went into remission for the next 24 years allowing us to grow even more in love and create more precious memories. In May of 2022, we learned her Tumor had returned, but this time earthly medicine would not allow her to stay with us; God was calling her home. Through all of her medical challenges, Stacey never complained, enjoying every moment and experience to the fullest. I am very thankful to my employer 4imprint and my wonderful teammates as well as Hospice for giving me the opportunity to spend our last days together; holding her hand, giving her many hugs and kisses and for one final dance to our wedding song "Follow Me-John Denver". Although it was difficult seeing her through this time, I cherished every moment we had, and I was with her for her last breath. Her mother Judie Davies, Sister Nicole Thompson, and Mother-in-Law Dotti Hill were also there for her through this time and cherished the time they had as well. She was blessed with a great family and friends, most of whom were able to see her before God called. Stacey will be dearly missed. Later that night of her starting her new journey and on an unplanned drive to Wautoma, she sent us a full double rainbow to let us know she was OK and was with God and with those family members that preceded her. She is also survived by her Brother-in-Law John Thompson, Sister-in-Law Jennifer Hill and her two beautiful nieces Gracie and Lidia Thompson of whom she was so proud.
