Stanley E. Zabel's Obituary
Stanley E. Zabel, age 77, of Weyauwega, WI, passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI.
He was born on January 19, 1945 in Waupaca, WI, son of Arlin and Elaine (Cartwright) Zabel.
Stanley was a meat cutter for various groceries stores until the time of his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, but most special to him was spending time with family and friends.
Stanley is survived by a step-father Carrol Steinbach of Waupaca, WI; three brothers-in-law Peter Gorr of Waupaca, WI, Rod Wood of Waupaca and Tom Jennerjahn of Menasha, WI; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Vanover; son Steven Zabel; brother Richard Zabel; three sisters Bev Wood, Judy Jennerjohn and Monna Zink.
As per Stanley’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial of cremains will be Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Lind Center Cemetery in the town of Lind.
