STEPHEN “BULL” W. PARROTT
AMHERST, WISCONSIN
Age 62, passed away peacefully after a 3-year battle with gastric cancer on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston, WI. He was born December 16, 1953 in Woodbury, NJ; son of Victor and Josephine (Zappola) Parrott. Stephen “Bull” served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years 3 days from 1972 - 1976. On February 1, 1997, he married Traci “Ducky” Glisczinski at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Fancher. Stephen “Bull” worked as a journeyman wireman with IBEW 388 until 2013. His memory will survive through all of his loving family and many friends.
Stephen “Bull” is survived by his wife and caregiver: Traci “Ducky” Parrott of Amherst, WI; children: Adam Parrott of Chesapeake, VA, Sam (fiancée, Nicole Schroeder) Parrott of Vesper, WI, and Julia Parrott of Stevens Point, WI; grandson: Zakkary of Stevens Point, WI; father: Victor Parrott; mother: Josephine Parrott of New Jersey; father and mother-in-law: Robert J. and Therese Glisczinski of Amherst, WI; brothers-in-law: Randy (Denise) Glisczinski of Amherst, WI and Robert M. (Imelda) Glisczinski of Amherst, WI; sister-in-law: Mary (Paul) Ehr of New Munster, WI; and close family friends: Mark and Joy Glodowski of Junction City, WI. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Woodlands Church, 190 Hoover Avenue, Plover, WI. Reverend Brian Berg will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Stephen W. Parrott. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
