Joan And Ed Marshall
Joan and I were neighbors of "Red" and Barbara on Wilson Lake, two cottages down from them. These three plots were the first developments on the lake in 1950. Red and Barbara were not the first owners of their property, but when they were, they turned their cottage into one of the most substantial on the lake. After Joan's parents died, we started an annual trek to the lake in 1997. Red and Barbara always welcomed us back, bringing us up to date on lake events. Red provided over watch of the snow plowing of our common driveway and sent his handyman to us for added work. Red always volunteered or got his daily exercise walking the road bordering the lake. Meanwhile, Barbara tended her flowers planted along our common entry road. They are now disease free in paradise. We shall miss them.
