Steven J. Fabricius' Obituary
Steven Jay Fabricius, age 58 of Waupaca, WI passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Bethany Home. Steve was born on August 17, 1964; son of the late Donald and Pauline (Georgeson) Fabricius in La Crosse, WI. He was a police officer for the City of Waupaca for 16 years, a volunteer firefighter for the Waupaca Area and on the Waupaca Dive Team. Steve enjoyed boating and water skiing on the Chain O’Lakes. He also enjoyed driving around in the snow, chasing storms, making jokes and spending time with his family and friends. Steve loved his cats, Eve, Peaches and Jerico.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Taylor Fabricius of Junction City, WI; grandson, Lincoln Jay Fabricuis of Madison, WI; sisters, Jacci Fabricius of Kimberly, WI; Janet (Jeff) Mace of Waupaca, WI; nieces and nephews, Alysia Ascher of Beaverton, OR; Joshua Bailey of Kimberly, WI; Ryan Mace of Waupaca, WI; Adam Mace of Waupaca, WI; uncle, Ralph “Lefty” (Judy) Fabricius of Waupaca, WI; also many other relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Timothy Fabricius.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of service at the Church. Reverend Erin Coutts will officiate. Memorial Service will be livestreamed clickhere
