Steven F. Lentz's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven Lentz, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world on December 6, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on June 29, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his parents Kenneth and Ruth Lentz.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Lentz. He leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by his spouse, Karen Forshee, and his children: Ashley (Colin) Brown, Steven (Courtney & granddaughter Aubrey) Lentz, Mindy (Andy) Dudley, and Gena (Mando * granddaughters Selena & Isabel) Esquivel. He is also survived by his brother, Dan (Carol) Lentz.
A dedicated professional, Steve owned and operated Reinke's Full Service gas station in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he worked tirelessly before retiring to a quieter life in Almond, Wisconsin. Steve found joy in fixing things, and had an innate ability to see potential, always striving to get as much life as possible out of everything he encountered. This practical mindset extended into his retirement as he loved spending time outdoors on the farm.
Steve had a great sense of humor but was known for his stoic nature. Combined with his unwavering loyalty to family and friends, he was a steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew him. Whether he was sharing a laugh or offering support during difficult times, Steve was a source of strength and comfort.
While Steve's physical presence will be greatly missed, his spirit and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He was a man who understood the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the beauty of the simple things in life. Steve is forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
A private funeral service will be held to honor his life at a later date.
