My deepest sympathy to the Kempfert family, Erin Smith (Mahoney) and Family.

Sue was my cousin and friend. We were in the same graduation class and we spent time together during those years. Good times and many memories. We always say we’re going to get together but time slips away for each of us. She was a caring and loving and special kind of woman. I loved knowing her and will miss her, but know I will see her in glory one day. My sympathies to her family and know God blessed you with one of His best. Gods be with you all. One of my first memories of Sue was after she worked a night shift at Bethany Home, she would hop over to Immanuel Lutheran School and work with the crew to give the students a hot lunch once a week that cost $.50 each! Our crew became close being sisters in Christ and sharing blessings and tears.
All the neighborhood kids couldn't wait for the orange flag to go up. Sue was a rock for us. She was there for my youngest brother when he was very little and may have saved his life during a health emergency. She will always be in my thoughts and will be missed.
The most sweetest and kind lady I’ve met ❤️. Prayers to the family.
