Thelma Lorraine Pionke's Obituary
Thelma L. Pionke, age 91, of Waupaca, WI, passed away at her home on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017. Thelma was born on Sept. 15, 1926 in Plainfield, WI, the daughter of Frank and Jessie (Davidson) Pionke. She spent most of her life employed with the 3M company out of Minneapolis, MN. After retiring from 3M, Thelma moved from Fergus Falls, MN to Waupaca so that she could be closer to her special aunt, Alma. In earlier years, she enjoyed fishing and in later years, thoroughly enjoyed feeding the squirrels. Thelma will be greatly missed and remembered for her great sense of humor.
Thelma is survived by a sister, Genevieve Weymouth; brother-in-law, Harry Weymouth; many cousins, several nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
A private graveside service will take place in the Spring of 2018.
