Theodore R. Marguardt's Obituary
Theodore R. Marquardt, age 85, of the Town of Lanark, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Bethany Nursing Home in Waupaca. Ted was born in Sheboygan, WI on November 7, 1925, the son of the late Theodore and Marguerite (Nulter) Marquardt. On May 27, 1972 Ted married Cecile Carpenter in Milwaukee and she preceded him in death on Jan. 10, 2009. He worked for many years for Wisconsin Electric Co. and was the Town of Lanark Chairman. He had served in the Merchant Marines in WW II. Ted is survived by a daughter: Carol Jensen, West Allis, WI; his step-sons: Jeff (Diane) Carpenter, New Berlin, WI; Mark (Toni) Carpenter, West Allis, WI; Scott Carpenter, Milwaukee, WI; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Per Ted's wishes there will be no funeral services. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
