Theresa "Tess" L. Christensen's Obituary
Theresa L. "Tess" Christensen - age 58 - of Pine River, WI - passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on June 19, 1956 in Iola, WI, the daughter of Alvin H. and Virginia M. (Masten) Hanneman. She married Roger Christensen on October 31, 1997 in Fremont, WI.
Tess is survived by her husband, Roger of Pine River, step-daughter: April Christensen of Waukesha, step-son: Brion (Dana) Christensen of Lubbock, TX, step-grandchildren: Natalie, Natasha, Noah, and Jonathan, siblings: Christine (David) Hahn of Berlin, Al Hanneman, Jr of Aspen, CO, LaCinda (William) Mccleary of Debeque, CO, and Gib (Yvonne) Hanneman of Rifle, CO. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Tess was preceded in death by her parents, and her furry kids: Lacy, Bear, and Bruce.
Tess had many interests including gardening, canning, cooking, making jewelry, fishing, and hunting. She was also a very talented pool player. She loved her pets.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI, with Mr. Jeff Fletcher, officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Lake Cemetery, Township of Lind, Waupaca County, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, and again on Thursday morning one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in memory of Theresa "Tess" Christensen. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
