Thomas J. Dupuis' Obituary
Tom Dupuis, age 57, died peacefully on October 1, 2021, at Community Living in Manawa and under the care of Hospice. Tom was born in Wausau to Larry and Beverly Dupuis on April 21, 1964. Tom graduated from Mosinee High School and in 1986 graduated from UW-Stevens Point. Tom was employed as a graphic designer at Krause Publications in Iola, WI retiring in 2018. Tom established long lasting friendships at UW-Stevens Point and at Krause Publications. Tom loved to party and enjoy good music, good food and witticisms with friends and family. He had a collection of Beatles memorabilia which spoke to his love of music. With his good friend Jim Felhofer, Tom entertained in local establishments as a member of the Fret Boys. Tom and Jim also established The Narrators and recorded CD’s. In 2000 Tom purchased his rural “Eden” in Pine, River Wi. He loved creating a comfortable home, productive gardens, and a backyard that welcomed birds, squirrels and an occasional bear.
Tom is survived by his brother Mike (Svetlana Bekman) Dupuis of Evanston Illinois and his nephews David and Daniel Dupuis. He is further survived by his uncle Don (Sue) Netzel of Plover, his aunt Marge (Dave) Unertl of Mosinee and his special family of the heart, Joey and Zack Meyers of New London, Wisconsin along with their children Damien and Jase. Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother as well as an uncle.
There will be a private gathering for a celebration of Tom’s life at a date yet to be determined.
