Thomas Anthony Gottsacker, 71 of Iola, WI.
Tom passed onto heaven peacefully at his home in Iola, WI, surrounded by family on June 29, 2025.
Beloved husband, brother, father, step-dad, and grandpa. A man of God, who gave God the glory for all his successes in life.
Beloved husband of Barbara for 34 years.
Tom and Barbara are members of Victory Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin.
Tom graduated from Marquette with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
After college he went to work in the family real estate business. He moved on to become a financial advisor at Robert W. Baird in the Fox Valley and retired in 2017.
Tom enjoyed deer hunting with his family and friends, goose hunting in Saskatchewan, golfing with his buddies, fishing with his brothers, and cooking for friends and family. He developed close relationships while wintering in Laguna Vista, Texas.
Tom was a man of integrity, quick wit, and a generous spirit. He enjoyed spending time with family, bird watching and teaching them a little something about everything. He was a well-rounded man, passionate about teaching his children and grandchildren the fascinating things he had discovered and giving glory to the Creator of it all.
Tom had a big presence when he walked into a room, greeting everyone with hugs and kisses.
We will all miss him greatly, but remember him often with our many, many happy memories.
A Memorial Service for Tom will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Victory Church in Waupaca. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:30 until the time of service at church.
The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Victory Church Youth Group.
