Thomas A. Hughes' Obituary
Thomas Hughes, age 64 of Wild Rose, WI formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Tom was born on December 6, 1954, son of the late Daniel and Monica (Heaton) Hughes Sr. He was supervisor for Briggs and Stratton Company in Milwaukee for 32 years until his retirement. At which time he moved to Wild Rose, WI. Tom married Jean Dinauer on June 4, 2005. He was an avid golfer, taking employment at Waushara Country Club where he met many friends. He took great pride in making the course beautiful. He also worked at the Waushara Argus where he entertained co-workers with genius conversations.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jean Hughes of Wild Rose, WI; daughter, Katie (Michael) Rettler of Neenah, WI; grandchildren, Leah and Easton Rettler; brothers, Daniel (Sara) Hughes Jr. of Mayville, WI and Gregory (Sandy) Hughes of Mukwonago, WI; sister, Mary Beth (Steve) Orzel of Rothschild, WI; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM on Friday, April 5th at Unity Lutheran Church, 1025 E. Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements
