Thomas C. Leas' Obituary
Thomas C. Leas, age 67, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Veterans Home-Olson Hall. Tom was born in Cresco, Iowa on April 14, 1947, the son of Walter and Karen (Anderson) Leas. On November 6, 1971 Tom married Jacqueline Parrish in Richmond, Ohio and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2008. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at the VA-Hospital in Milwaukee. He loved all kinds of music and fishing.
Tom is survived by his son: Tony (Kami) Leas, Waunakee, WI; his granddaughters: Kailey Leas & Alora Pluster; his father: Walter (Jackie) Leas, Aurora, CO and his sisters: Kathy (Butch) Pemberton; Patti Valdez. Also surviving are many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen, a son, Kenneth and a sister, Mary Jo Bray.
Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, June 3 at 1 PM at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Olson Hall Chapel, King with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke, officiating. Military Graveside Services will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 12 Noon to 1 PM at Olson Hall Chapel.
