Thomas W. Loehrke's Obituary
Thomas W. Loehrke, age 70, of Waupaca, WI passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Tom was born in Winneconne on April 23, 1944, the son of the late Elmer and Velda (Miller) Loehrke. On April 25, 1969, Tom married Joan Brooks in Readfield, WI. He worked for 33 years at Waupaca Foundry and was a member of Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Lind. Tom is survived by his wife: Joan Loehrke, Waupaca; his children: Michael Loehrke, Waupaca; John Loehrke, Waupaca and Jason (Erin) Loehrke, Green Bay; his grandchildren: Sierra, Noah, Aiden, Collin & Dylan; his brother: Ken Loehrke, Larsen; his sisters: Judy (Jesus) Ortega, Appleton; Sharon (Bob) Ebben, Milwaukee; Patty (Larry) Steward, Appleton; Jeannette (Nigel) Allen, Georgia; Betty Ramer, Appleton and Tina Miller, Appleton and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Hopkins. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, December 23 at 11 AM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend William H. Jordan, officiating. Burial will be in the spring at the Lind Center Cemetery, Town of Lind. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 9 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
