Thomas A. Maggio
Waupaca, WI Age 53 – died very unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI. He was born on January 27, 1955 in Chicago, IL, a son of Dominick and Agnes (Wheeler) Maggio. He married Judy Wagner on August 21, 1976 in Waupaca, WI. Tom is survived by his wife; Judy of Waupaca, two children; Tammy Maggio of Bend, OR, and Tommy Maggio of Waupaca, his mother; Agnes Maggio of Waupaca, brothers; Louis (Barb) Maggio of New London, Rocco (Alice) Maggio of Waupaca, Robert (Laurie) Maggio of Waupaca, Donald (Cindy) Maggio of Waupaca, and James Maggio of Waupaca, sisters; Joyce Maggio of Waupaca, Mary (Brian) Hopkinson of DePere, and Sharyn (Lee) Bennett of Austin, TX. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Shery, his father; Dominick, and two sisters; Nancy Bennett and Cheryl Maggio. Tom had been employed as a maintenance worker with the Waupaca Foundry for 11 years. Prior to working with the Waupaca Foundry he had been an over the road truck driver with various companies for a number of years. Tom enjoyed NASCAR racing, football, and deer hunting. Tom was always available to lend a hand to anyone needing help with something, and this was reflected in the time he gave to the Salvation Army as a bell ringer during the Christmas season. A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 3:30 PM, with the Reverend Rick Anderson, officiating. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Sunday from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting with the arrangements.
