Age 76 – passed away at his residence on Friday, August 17, 2012. He was born on December 21, 1935 in Keshena, WI, the son of George and Cora (Peters) Pecore. He married Sally Hanson on December 26, 1957 in Shawano, WI.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Sally, daughters: Tammy (Jim) Pomerenke and Tina Pecore, both of Waupaca, grandchildren: Naomi Meyer, Joseph Pecore, Hannah Podolski, John Podolski, Grace Jones-Pecore, Chelsey Bobbe-Pecore, Lucas Pomerenke, and Jacob Pomerenke, great grandchildren: Thomas Meyer, Charlotte Podolski, and Olivia Podolski. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
Thomas had been employed at the Waupaca Foundry for 34 years. He had been a Disa Foreman for a number of years, and then became a warehouse attendant prior to his retirement. He had also been a truck driver for a number of years working for various companies. He enjoyed fishing and hunting bear in Canada. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI, with the Pastor Philip Thompson – Victory Church, officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
