Tonja Borroughs' Obituary
Tonja M. (Hadley) Burroughs, age 28, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 29th, 2008 at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. She was born in Albany, New York on December 30, 1979, she was the daughter of Gregory Hadley and Annette Andro. Tonja had a beautiful smile and a great stride for life. Her two boys, Michael & Marshall Murphy were a huge part of her life, they will be taken care of by their father and step-mother, Andrew and Sandy Murphy. Tonja enjoyed being around all of her family and friends. She loved to collect frogs and bears, listen to music, and playing with her boys. She is survived by her Husband: Paul Burroughs, Waupun, WI; Her Boys: Michael & Marshall Murphy, Camp Douglas, WI; Former Spouse: Andrew (Sandy) Murphy, Camp Douglas, WI; Grandparents: Larry & Christine Jorgenson, Waupaca, WI; Douglas Hadley, New York, NY; Kathleen Neusen, Nekoosa, WI; Sisters: Mary Jo (Faron) Hadley, Waupaca, WI; Nicole (Matt) Winters, Scandinavia, WI; Nina Hadley, Waupaca, WI; Brothers: Michael Bestul, Nekoosa, WI; Jacob Hadley, Nekoosa, WI; Steven (Brandy) Hadley, Manitowoc, WI; Nieces: Kylie & Chloe; Nephews: Damian & Devin; Uncles: Mike Hadley, Waupaca, WI; Kenny Hadley, Waupaca, WI; Great Grandmother: Viona Jorgenson, Waupaca, WI Aunts: Stephanie (Alfredo) Estrada, Waupaca, WI; Cherie (Bruce) Goetsch. She is further survived by cousins and many friends. Tonja was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, Mom-mom & Pop-pop Collins, Harold & Margaret Hadley, Earl Jorgenson and Gilbert Reetz; and a Great Aunt, Susan Reetz. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Stan Engle & Steve Buck officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for her children at the 1st National Bank in Waupaca. Tonja will be sadly missed by all.
