Tyler L. Stevens' Obituary
Tyler L. Stevens, age 26, of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 with his family at his side at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. On Sunday, March 18, Tyler became a hero to many as he donated his organs to people in need. Tyler was born on August 9, 1991 in Waupaca to Sam & Debra (Nowland) Stevens. Tyler attended Wild Rose Schools and for many years was employed by Lauritzen Farms where he worked alongside family. Tyler was a small town boy who relished the country life and the ethics that lifestyle entailed. Always gentle and kind, personable and loved by all that had the privilege of having him in their life. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephew. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and playing video games. He also loved to skateboard. Those Tyler leaves behind are his loving mother, Debra (Mike) Stevens, Wild Rose; his parent, Symantha Stevens, New Orleans, LA; his sister, Jessica (Lance) Nennig and their children, Kendra & Kaleb, Dotyville, WI; his brother, Sam (Sania) Stevens and their children, Macayla & Lydia, Neenah, WI. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Bruce & Shirley Stevens, Waupaca and many other relatives and friends. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tom & Vione Nowland, 2 brothers, Jerry & Jim Stevens as well as 2 uncles, Dennis Nowland & Dale Stevens. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Saturday, March 24 from 2 to 5 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
