Valerie J. Gorski's Obituary
Valerie Jean Gorski, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Waupaca on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born and raised in Maui to Willard Burton French and Violet Carol French. Valerie retired from Riverside Medical Center’s testing laboratory in 2010.
She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, playing cards, working puzzles, and watching deer and listening to the Waupaca River flow through the backyard. She loved watching her Green Bay Packers, and visiting her homeland of Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan A. Gorski, and her parents. She is survived by her children Arthur (Sharon) Gorski of Chesterfield, VA, Jeanne (Jim) Brummitt of Grand Junction, CO, Alan (Jacqueline) Gorski of Memphis, TN, and Jennifer (Matt) Dorsey of Marina Del Rey, CA, brother Joey (JoAnna) French of Tracy, CA, and Sisters-in-law Mary Gorski and MaryAnn Gorski. She had seven grandchildren; Matthew, Benjamin, Nicolas, Rachel, Andre, Cambrea, and Carson; nieces Cherise, Kira, and Alexis, and nephew Joel, and may special friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 12 noon at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will officiate.
