Vaneta Wanta's Obituary
Vaneta A. (Vonnie) Wanta, age 84, of Lakeview Manor, Weyauwega, WI, passed away Tuesday, November 15th, 2005 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah, Winnebago County, WI. Vonnie was born in the Town of Waupaca, Waupaca Co. WI on August 21, 1921, the daughter of the late Eugene and Tressie (Peterson) Ewald. Vonnie married Walter Wanta September 30, 1944 in Bevent, WI. He preceded her in death June 12, 1994. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Waupaca, Wisconsin. She is survived by a daughter: Barbara (Ronald) Pagel, Waupaca, WI; two grandchildren: Darin (Stephanie) Pagel, Merrill, WI; Denise (John) Stahl, Campbellsport, WI; four great-grandchildren: Garrett, Courtney, Ashlee, and Marisa; two step-great grandchildren: Shannon and April; her sister: Nina (Gordon) Laabs, Beloit, WI, a sister-in-law: Doris Ewald, Waupaca, WI and several nieces and nephews. Vonnie was also preceded in death by four brothers, Herman, Russ, Marlyn and Loyal and two sisters, Ruth Wilson and Evelyn Hansen. The Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waupaca, WI at 1 PM on Monday, November 21 with Reverend Sean Motley officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park Waupaca, WI. Visitation will be held Monday 10:30 AM to 1 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
