Vernon Haltom's Obituary
Vernon R. Haltom, age 84, of King, Wisconsin , passed away on Tuesday, December 13th, 2005 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Ainsworth Hall, Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., Wisconsin. Mr. Haltom was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on September 12, 1921, he was the son of the late Burt and Henrietta (Keller) Haltom. He married Betty J.Henson on April 13, 1953 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. He served his country in the U.S. Marines Corps in World War II. He is survived by his Wife: Betty Haltom, Appleton, WI; Children: Raymond (Paula) Haltom, Appleton, WI; Barbara (Rick) McElroy, North Carolina; Ronald (Mary) Haltom, Lake Villa, IL; Tim (Theresa) Haltom, Chicago, IL; Wayne Haltom, Appleton, WI; Sister: Louise Riley, Decator, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Ainsworth Hall Chapel, King, Wisconsin at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 16th, with Chaplain Tracy Hamelink, officiating. Interment of the cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery next spring. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30 - 1:00 PM at the Ainsworth Hall Chapel.
