Vernon Mullet's Obituary
Vernon E. Mullet, age 65, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Appleton Medical Center, after fighting Leukemia for several months. Vernon was born on Sept. 1, 1940 at home in Plain City, Ohio the son of the late Emanuel J. Mullet and Katie B. Miller. Vernon did carpentry work for most of his life. He loved woodworking, but his real passion was working for the Lord. He was a faithful Christian and Elder of the Church of Christ. Vernon married Rachel E. Stutzman on April 11, 1963 in Oelwein, Iowa. He is survived by his wife: Rachel Mullet of Waupaca, WI; his children: Dorothy (Brian) Servey Jr of Waupaca, WI; LaVern (Joleen) Mullet of Everett, WA; Edwin (Rebecca) Mullet of Waupaca, WI and Lorraine (Richard) Moloney Jr. of Waupaca, WI. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren and five brothers: Marvin, Eli, Menno, Melvin and Emanuel and two sisters: Sadie and Ida. Vernon also has numerous relatives, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. He was preceded in death by a brother, John and his sisters, Lizzie and Katie
Funeral Service will be at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Friday, July 21, with Tony Turner, officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery in the Town of Farmington. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. A Memorial Fund has been established in Vernon's name. II Timothy 4: 7-8 (KJV)
