Vincent Nickel's Obituary
Vincent L. Nickel, age 53, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Monday, July 25th, 2011 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. He was born in Waupaca on November 7, 1957, a son of the late Allen and Mildred (Bruss) Nickel. He married Kathleen Rogan on September 10, 1994 in Waupaca. Vince loved farming and did so for most of his life in the Town of Lind. Watching his children grow was Vince's greatest pleasure. He enjoyed having a good time and a cold Pabst with his friends. Vince was a friend to many and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his Wife: Kathy Nickel, Waupaca, WI; Children: Benjamin Nickel, Waupaca, WI; Bailey Nickel, Waupaca, WI; Brother: DuWayne (Susan) Nickel, Waupaca, WI; Sister: Priscilla (Larry) Will, Fremont, WI; Brother: Ellwyn (Special Friend - Traci Johnson) Nickel, Waupaca, WI. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister - Doreen Mayer. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 10 AM on Saturday, July 30th, 2011, with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in the Lind Center Cemetery, Town Lind, Waupaca Co, WI. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Vincent L. Nickel.
