Vincent John Serafini's Obituary
Vincent J. Serafini, age 92, of Waupaca, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Vincent was born on April 13, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Dario and Antonetta (Marcelli) Serafini. After graduating high school, Vince joined the Navy and proudly served his country during WWII. He had many ventures throughout the course of his life such as owning and operating a guest ranch in Montello, WI. He also built and operated V.J. Serafini’s in Neshkoro, WI. He spent most of his life as a master plumber but was skilled in many traits.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Corlee (Mousel) Serafini; three daughters, Teri Serafini of Tallahassee, FL, Lori (John) Paul of Hartland, WI, and Teri (Stanley) Doman of New London, WI; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Toni Hensley; and two brothers, Dominic and Ettore Serafini.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, WI on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Mass will begin at 11 AM with Fr. Amalraj Roche officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until Mass. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery following services.
