"Oh, kid..."
A most enjoyable and remarkable memory is of Girls' Week at the cabin. The fellows would join us for the weekend, but for several days, it was just the girls (aunts, moms, cousins, daughters). The women returned from a walk giddy as schoolgirls, singing and laughing (they may or may not have stopped at the tavern down the road). Before long, Aunt Vi was dancing the Charleston. I was fairly athletic in my youth, but I could not, before that day, imagine knees could rotate so! May the spirit of Aunt Vi soar with her loved ones before her, singing and dancing with joy we cannot yet imagine.

We girls (moms, aunts, daughters, nieces) spent a week at the cabin (men/boys arriving on weekend). What fun, with no boys! The women returned from a walk, giddy as schoolgirls (they might have stopped at the tavern down the road), singing and laughing. Before long, Vi broke into the Charleston. I was pretty athletic in those days, but I never imagined knees could rotate like that! Love to my aunts and mom, knowing their spirits are soaring beyond what I can imagine.
