Violet Adams' Obituary
Violet L. Adams, age 90, of Plover, WI., passed away on Monday, August 20th, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. She was born in the Town of Belmont, Portage Co., WI., on July 4, 1917, a daughter of the late Alfonso and Blanche (Ellis) Miner. She married John Q. Adams on November 8, 1934 in the Town of Belmont. Violet was a seamstress and baker her whole life. She also enjoyed hooking rugs. Survivors include her Husband: John Adams, Plover, WI; a Daughter: Margaret (Harlan) Bender, Bancroft, WI; a Granddaughter: Wendy (Jeff) Rowsam, Denmark, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Leland, Lloyd and Stillman Miner, 2 sisters, Jessie Pankin and Isabelle Hoffman, and foster parents, Walter and Martha Yohn and Chester and Lena Taylor. Funeral Services will be held at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond at 1:30 PM on Friday, August 24th, 2007, with Reverend David Leistra, officiating. Interment will be in the Almond Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
