Virginia Dombrowski's Obituary
Virginia Dombrowski, age 89 of Amherst, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on September 16, 1924 the daughter of the late Isadore and Frances (Konkol) Patoka. She married Raymond Dombrowski on September 23, 1944 in the Town of Stockton, WI. Virginia was a Packer fan and enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking and baking, and spending time with the grandchildren.
Virginia is survived by, her sons; David (Linda) Dombrowski of Amherst, Donald (Mary) Dombrowski of Waupaca, James (Sharon) Dombrowski of Amherst, Thomas (Kendall) Dombrowski of Amherst; her daughters; Susanne (James) Chick of Plover, Mary (John) Bigus of Beverly, MA; brothers and sisters; Clifford Patoka, Raymond (Lucille) Patoka, Marge Dean, Daniel (Bonnie) Patoka; son-in-law, William Dombrowski; daughter-in-law, Rita Dombrowski; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; also many other relatives and friends. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, Gary; daughter, Diane; brothers and sisters; Edwin, Verona, Max, Harold, and Chesterine.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 24th at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church Fancher. Father Jude Dioka will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, April 23 at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
