Virginia Mae Dopp Nowak's Obituary
Virginia Mae Dopp Nowak, age 94 of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose. She was born on January 15, 1926 daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Redlin) Lienhard in Almond. On October 20, 1945, Virginia married John Joseph Dopp in her home church in Almond, he preceded her in death on August 25, 1976. She was the director of human resources at Dopp Dairy Domain Inc., raising her children and feeding all the help on the farm. Virginia loved to paint, dance, garden, tell jokes, volunteer, bake and go “you know where”.
On January 18, 1986, Virginia married Robert A. Nowak in the Town of Belmont, he also preceded her in death on March 5, 2005.
Virginia is survived by her children, Phillip (Karen) Dopp, Sharon (Jim) Billmeyer, Mary Jo (Harry) Eskritt, Tim Dopp, Terri (Jerry) Dopp-Paukstat; sister, Edith Vroman; sister-in-law, Nelda Newell, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husbands John and Robert; infant son, Daniel; sister Marion; and brother Richard.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Wild Rose United Methodist Church in Wild Rose. Rev. Pamela Priewe will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 23rd at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the Dopp Cemetery Association or to Agnesian Hospice Hope in Green Lake, WI. Online condolences available at www.hollyfuneralhome.com
