Virginia D. Krusick's Obituary
Virginia D. Krusick. age 87, of Amherst, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on August 24, 1927 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Louis and Stella Osowicz.
Virginia married John Krusick July 19, 1947. She outlived her brothers and sisters, Virginia is survived by four sons, John (Jan) Krusick of Placitas, NM, Rick (Connie) Krusick of Rio Rancho, NM, Jim (Bev) Krusick of Custer, and Randy (Doreen) Krusick of Amherst, one daughter Becki (Ben) Strader of Apex, NC. five grandsons, four granddaughters; seven great grand children. One sister in law Kathrine Osowicz of Owensboro, KY. Following the loss of her love, John. Preceding in death by her parents; four Brothers and four Sisters.
Virginia spent winters with her two sons in New Mexico and summers with her two sons in Wisconsin, with many trips to her daughter's home in North Carolina. She devoted most of her time to her family, and with spare moments spent cooking and reading.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10 am at St Mary of Mt Carmel Catholic Church of Fancher, Father Jim Trempe will preside. Burial will follow in the St Mary of Mt Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 4 until 8pm with a Rosary Service at 7pm at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Visitation again on Thursday at St Mary of Mt Carmel Catholic Church at Fancher from 9am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
