W. Fred Jensen's Obituary
W. Fred Jensen, age 90, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Fred was born in the Town of Lanark, Portage County, WI on June 15, 1917, the son of the late Waldamer and Edna (Harvey) Jensen. On October 23, 1943, Fred married Lucile Johnson in Waupaca. Fred farmed in the Town of Farmington for over 70 years. He was a member of Farmington Lutheran Church. Fred is survived by his wife: Lucile Jensen of Waupaca; three sons: James Jensen of Honolula, Hawaii; Lee (Jane) Jensen of Kewaskum, WI; Mark Jensen of Waupaca; a daughter: Joanne Handler of Annapolis, Maryland; Six Grandchildren: Lucas Jensen, Erica Kiser, Kate Handler, Rachel Jensen, Lane Handler and Emily Jensen; two sisters: Arleen Anderson of Waupaca and Marie Edminster of Waupaca. Also surviving is a sister-in-law: Norma Johnson of Waupaca and a brother-in-law: E. Les Jenner of Waupaca. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, two sister in laws, Arlene Jenner and Muriel Seeber and two brother in laws, Lloyd Anderson and Clifford Edminster. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Thursday, Sept. 27 at Farmington Lutheran Church with Reverend Mark E. Sabin, officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. A Memorial Fund has been established in Fred's name.
