Ward R. Parmenter's Obituary
Ward Parmenter went peacefully to meet his Lord on December 14, 2021. He was 74 years old. Born in 1947 to Elwin Kenneth Parmenter and Joyce (Newby) Parmenter. Ward was married to Mary Jo on August 8, 1998. Ward was an avid sportsman and enjoyed sharing hunting and fishing stories with his friends. He spent many years with Rocky Mountain Elk Federation and was especially proud of the herd of elk they brought back to Wisconsin. Ward also was a hunter's safety teacher for most of his adult life. He was a professional bow shooter for Hoyt and met many good friends through his competitions. Ward worked as a tool and dye journeyman in the Kenosha, WI area until his retirement. After he retired, he and Mary Jo moved to the Crivitz, WI area. He enjoyed his winters in their home in Arizona. He was a very patient and loving person and will be greatly missed by his family.
Ward is survived by his wife Mary Jo Parmenter; his sister, Marcia; a niece, Megan; four step children, Ron(Barb) Clarke, Scott(Amy) Clarke, Lisa(Jesse) Delfosse, and Ryan(Jolene) Clarke; nine grandchildren, Ian, Jordyn, Jackson, Cole, Landon, Luke, Nick, Shawn and Ella. He is further survived by numerous cousins who he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elwin and Joyce Parmenter.
Burial will be on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11 am at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
