Warren L. Wendlandt's Obituary
Warren L. Wendlandt, 72, of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 6:28 AM at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Lincoln Christian Church with Mr. Laurin Hill officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday prior to the service.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose.
Burial will be in Mt. Morris Holden Cemetery, Town of Mount Morris, Waushara County, WI.
Warren Lee Wendlandt was born on June 4, 1942 in Plymouth, Wisconsin, the son of Rolland William and Lucille Emma (Wesener) Wendlandt. He was united in marriage to Kendra Johnson on March 23, 1962 at the Plymouth Lutheran Church in Plymouth, WI.
He is survived by his three sons: Kevin (Sue Peterson) Wendlandt, Kurt (Cindy) Wendlandt, and Kory (Leah) Wendlandt; a brother: Clyde (Sue) Wendlandt; a sister: Celeste (Joe) Overesch; seven grandchildren: Jessica Brossart, Nichole Wendlandt, Kevin Wendlandt Jr., Emily Grass, Kelsey Wendlandt, Autumn Wendlandt, and Hunterae Wendlandt; and five great-grandchildren: Michael, Aaron, Rhylee, Paislee, and Maddox.
Warren graduated from Plymouth High School in 1960 in Plymouth, WI and Madison Vocational Chef School. He was employed at Lincoln College for over thirty-one years as Director of Food Service. He was a member of the Saxeville Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years and Lincoln Rural Fire Department for 12 years. Warren was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Turkeys Unlimited, Quail and Upland Game Alliance, National Rifleman’s Association, Lincoln Sons of American Legion, and Eagles Lodge # 2708.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
