WAYNE W. GRUNEWALD
KING, WI. Age 79 – died on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born on September 8, 1926 in Oshkosh, WI, a son of the late Ervin and Leona (Wohlt) Grunewald. He married June Leu on November 28, 1947 in Oshkosh, WI. Wayne is survived by his wife: June, six children: Mary (John) McGown of Boise, ID, Patty (Greg) Roberts of Fort Collins, CO, Julie Johns of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Jane Houk of Gastonia, NC, John (Michelle) Grunewald of Wachtberg, Germany, and Sarah Brucker of Waupaca, WI, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a brother: Rex Grunewald. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother: Rodney Grunewald. No services are being planned at this time. It was Wayne’s wish to be cremated. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
