Wayne H. Neubauer's Obituary
Wayne Herbert Neubauer, age 83 of Waupaca, WI, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Wednesday morning. He will be especially missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Deanne (Danielson) and brother, Dennis Neubauer of Weyauwega.
Wayne was a veteran with the US Coast Guard. He was also proud that he worked at Gilbert Paper Company in Menasha for forty years including time as the Senior Lab Technician and running the employee credit union. Wayne always found fun in any situation. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, bowling, playing pool, driving his antique 1938 John Deere G tractor, and especially playing cards…cribbage with his wife and sheepshead sessions with family and friends.
Wayne loved his family and is survived by his wife Deanne, brother Dennis, four daughters, Kathy (Pat) Shaw, Vicki (Jon) Urch, Sue (Mike) Wolosek, Nancy (Scott) Williams, seven grandchildren and their spouses, ten great grandchildren, as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wayne didn’t talk a lot but when he did every one paid attention. Many lives were touched and better for knowing him. His humor and delightful smile will be missed!
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 29th at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the time of service at Holly’s. Burial will be held in the Spring at Baldwins Mill Cemetery. Online condolences available at www.hollyfuneralhome.com
